Math League 2025-26 --All You Want To Know!

Rules and Schedule

Hello!

Thank you for wanting to participate in SHARE's First-Ever Math League!  Below are the things that you need to know:

#1.  The practice and the events take place at Homelink but it is NOT a Homelink class.  The League is open to ALL SHARE members.

#2.  Ms. Alison Hoffmann is your moderator, but she does not set up the teams...she accepts the teams.  You will need to submit the names of your team members.  One team is made of 6 students and they MUST be the following ages:   

      Two 8-9 yrs + Two 10-11 yrs + Two 12-13 yrs = ONE TEAM

#3.  Once you have gathered up your team, plan to attend the Mandatory Meeting on September 18th where you will pay your Team Fee of $450 ($75 per person) and fill out your Team Roster.  This would also be a chance to meet others and perhaps form a team if you haven’t already done so.

You can register your team anytime from the mandatory meeting on September 18 to the deadline of October 2, however, the league is formed on a first come first served basis.  The FIRST FIVE teams to completely register by completing the BLUE team form (located at Homelink) AND pay their full team fee of $75 per team member, will be SHARE Math League members.  Think about teams now so you’re ready to register on the first day of opportunity, September 18, for your best chance to make the league.  This would also be a chance to meet others and perhaps form a team if you haven’t already done so.

Here's a tip for finding other members to complete your Math League Team:

USE THE SHARE FORUM! 
On the Forum you can possibly recruit other families to join your Math League Team.
Here's how you do it:
 

On a Laptop:  www.sharehomeschool.com    Log-in!    Click on TOOLS on the
             black navigational box.  Choose Forum or Classifieds

        On your Phone:   www.sharehomeschool.com    Log-in!     Click on the MAIN MENU
             Click on TOOLS.  Choose from Forum or Classifieds

These are simple word document type things to fill out and it will send it to every SHARE member who has opted in for it.  It does not send it to the entire group.
