Dear SHARE Families,
As many of you might know, during the past few years our support group has worked closely with the Chick-fil-A restaurant at Sunset Plaza. They have been wonderful to work with!!! Eric (the owner) and his managers love to employ both homeschool students and even their parents. I cannot begin to tell you how many times Eric and Jill Hume, the Human Resources Director, tell me how they are so happy with their homeschool employees. (They have even given me a free meal just for sending out emails like this one—very nice folks!)
Unfortunately, many of their top employees have graduated from highschool and are now moving on to college, the military, or something else, and once again, they are wanting to recruit from our ranks! Below is a letter from Jill which gives all the details about special informational meetings they will be conducting in hopes of recruiting more wonderful homeschooled employees.
Most of the SHARE homeschoolers I know who have worked at this location have been very happy with their job. So for many reasons, I highly recommend this employer and encourage those who are interested in working for them to attend one of these meeting (one is morning and one is evening). Nuggets and iced tea for all—even parents who come along!

Dear Homeschool Families:
My name is Jill Hume and I am the Human Resources Director at Chick-fil-A Sunset Plaza. We will be hosting our third Chick-fil-A Sunset Plaza Homeschooler’s Informational Meeting on the following dates:
Wednesday, August 19th from 10:00am-11:00am
Thursday, August 20th from7:00pm-8:00pm
at the Sunset Hills Community Center. Our Owner/Operator, Eric Benting, will share the Chick-fil-A story as well as our vision and values. He will expand upon Chick-fil-A’s corporate purpose, which is, “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A". We are looking for energetic team-members who lead with a servants’ heart and are excited to make a difference in the community and in the lives of others.
We will serve samples of our delicious Chick-fil-A Nuggets and refreshing iced tea while you learn more about Chick-fil-A Sunset Plaza and why it is such a rewarding place to work. The restaurant is located in Sunset Hills off Lindbergh, we offer competitive pay, flexible schedules and are closed on Sunday. This opportunity is for employment at the Sunset Hills location only.
