Additional Information
Would you like to be a Bully Buster Star?
We have been communicating with a nice lady named Sue Kennedy.
Sue has a desire to see children build their characters by learning more about showing respect,
being honest, being a responsible person, and being cooperative.
Since 2007 Sue has been providing Character Education/Bully Prevention Music Programs to Elementary Schools at little or no cost. In the program, students participate by answering questions and singing songs about bully prevention, respect, honesty , responsibility and cooperation. Music and answering thought provoking questions keeps students excited and learning crucial skills.
There is no cost to attend this program. However, Sue is hoping to get a few volunteers to perform on stage at the Kirkwood Theater on September 20th, where she will be hosting her annual fundraiser.
To be honest, I have not seen the program done except for the videos on her website. I wish I knew more, but Sue has been super nice on the phone and we are in total agreement about how children should be raised. So if you would like to join us, it will be in the Homelink Cafeteria on Friday, September 5, from 10:30- 11:30 am. The program is free, but we need to know how many are coming. It might make for a fun fall day to come to Bully Buster Stars, grab lunch, and then head to the park for the afternoon.
If you want to see the videos or hear the songs, go to www.BullyBusterStars.org.
