Here's an great opportunity to focus on Missouri's role in that war.

The Museum is housed in the historical 1905 Jefferson Barracks Post Exchange (PX) building, formerly part of the J.B. military post, which is still an active military installation to this day. At 22,000 square feet, the Museum is filled with over one thousand artifacts and several films throughout. Some of the exhibits are the pre-war gallery, Hollywood and the Civil War, the medal of honor exhibit, and the army of the republic and confederate soldiers gallery.
The program that is presented along with tour/scavenger hunt in the Museum will establish an overall view and coverage of the war between the states. By studying the events and battles, we can gain a better understanding of the outcome, and the ways the war affects us even today. It is important when reviewing the current moral and political viewpoints, as well as current events in the United States.
